Living in Florida we really don’t get to experience official seasons. I love the crisp weather of cold winters up north, pine cones, minty palettes and more! I decided to team up with some of my favorite local wedding vendors for a styled shoot. I was super excited to not only photography this, but also style it with the table-scape and paper-goods. I had my dear ladies from Solutions Bridal (Roberta, woot woot) style my bride, amazing makeup artist Simone at Makeover Station and more! I hope this shoot can inspire you to believe in winter weddings that can be created right here, without turning it into a destination! Enjoy :)
Wow, what a year it’s been and it’s getting close the end! Even though it flew by so fast, I had amazing moments this year. I’m blessed beyond measures and thank my dear Lord and savior for allowing me to wake up every morning to continue to do what I love. I have met inspiring people, made new friends, met amazing families and stunning brides. Many of you have been counting down the days of being thankful, as I thought to myself what are some words that come to mind when I feel thankful. I took a brush and illustrated what I felt. I am SO excited to reveal this styled session! Why? I had such awesome vendors who are so much fun and a delight to work with! I’m branding all of “Chalk Shop Events” material and was more than happy to capture images for her product line! Kimberly, the designer, created these custom handmade life-size boards. Not only does she have the fabulous displays, but smaller ones like her menu boards, “thank- you” and table displays. These are for sure to be a hit at any wedding or event, please make sure to take a look at her work! I wanted this styled shoot to be elegant, feminine, fresh and filled with beautiful bold floral. Hello! What a cute couple, Victoria and Justin are expecting a sweet baby girl…her name, Charlotte! So adorable! Both share a love for the Gators, Shih Tzu’s, laying down the law ( they’re both lawyers) and big smiles. I had a great time with these two and I look forward to meeting Charlotte! Enjoy!
What a beautiful Sunday it was, breezy day, temperatures in the low 70′s and absolutely sunny! I had such a great time capturing Stephanie and Mike + beautiful baby bump out on gorgeous acres of land! Make sure to take a look at the “grand finale” photos, why not get messy and have some fun? We thought a perfect way to start with hand painting and toddler years of little boys, is to do it before little Zachariah joins the family! Enjoy, I sure did!

It’s not everyday you get to be part of an awesome opportunity that pushes your creativity and at the same time meet amazing local vendors! Project Bridal Style is a contest between 4 stylists competing against each other to win top Stylist for Solutions Bridal. We had an hour for makeup/hair and an hour to shoot (me). My stylists, Roberta from Solutions chose the chic, lacey look. I was happy to hear, because I LOVE anything clean, sweet, feminine and lacey! It was such a fun and talented group! The chosen photo is below along with some of our other favorites from the session. Please vote for our #ProjectBridalStyle team to get to the top two finalist! Being a Floridian, we count down the days until the warm weather leaves and we can find any excuse to grab a pair of boots or scarves out to wear, yes even a few degrees lower will make us do this, ha! Many new exciting projects have taken off this year and I am so blessed and thankful. As you can see, new changes have been made to the site and I love my new logo! Evan has the prettiest big blue eyes! I had such a great time capturing cute little Evan’s smile and he sure is ready to start walking, his little legs moved so fast whenever they hit the ground! What a special couple! Ashleydawn and Brandon are perfect for each other! I was thrilled to find out Ashley was engaged and jumped on the opportunity to photograph this special moment in their life. The session was FILLED with tons of laughter, love and sweetness! I love how they met and the story behind it. Ashley had been sitting next to Brandon’s grandparents in church for three years until they sweetly asked her if she had “The Facebook”, so they could have their grandson and Ashley connect online! Brandon was in Ohio and Ashley in Florida, long story short, they met and the love story began! I just am amazed to hear God’s faithful workings on two beautiful people! Enjoy :)
I was so excited to meet my friend’s precious little girl Ava! Only a week old and she is the most opened eyed baby I have ever met! I told my friend, “She will be talking next week at this rate”! I love her nursery, very unique with purple tones and modern decor. Enjoy these amazing moments of first time parents. Congratulations again you two!
What any photographer loves is being pushed in their creativity, this session did just that and I loved every minute of it! Don’t you love the outfits, Boho meets all American? My gorgeous model Savannah is also getting married in December, where I will be photographing her wedding (whoo-hoo) and I’m super excited. If I had to pick a favorite from this session, oh gosh, honestly I love them all BUT I have to say the ones in the water came out pretty fantastical! Brought back memories of when I used to swim in the pool as a kid and believe that I was Ariel from the Little Mermaid, oh come on, I know you did it too ;) Enjoy and let me know what you think!
Whew! The summer has definitely reached it’s peak of heat. I’m really looking forward to some cooler weather, that’s for sure. One thing that I do enjoy, it forces you to shoot really early in the morning or in the late afternoon/evening..bringing a golden sun and a couple notches down in the temperature! I just love Ashley’s Ombre styled hair! I had such a great time with Ashley and Paul, it’s obvious to see these two sweeties are in love as they giggled and smiled cheek-to-cheek. Enjoy!
I was super excited to meet with Brandee Gaar, owner of Blush to chat about her editorial session and new branding! I will be photographing and branding all of their new “look”, so stay tuned! I met up with the gals in Montverde, Florida at the stunning Bella Collina. Stone carved walls covered the architecture with flowing water fountains and picturesque scenes of Tuscan spirit filling the air, SWOON! Below are some of my favorites. Blake and Brooke are such an adorable couple! I had such an amazing time capturing them at this location! It’s a private property filled with ferns, high swaying trees and simply green nature. Some of these shots remind me of the movie Twilight, doesn’t it? I hope this can inspire you to have an outdoor wedding, engagement shoot or anything that is green!

I photographed Allison and Rob’s wedding a bit ago and I feel so lucky to play a part in capturing their big mile stones of life, marriage…and now a sweet baby! Nina and Chip are extremely adorable together! I’ve known Nina since she was about 15 years old and have seen her bloom into a gorgeous young lady and now newly engaged to be wed! Chip is a graduate from West Point where he played football and Nina is a savvy, fashionable, outgoing city gal. These two lovebirds will be getting married in the beginning of next year and I cannot wait! Did somebody say flowers?! YES! During the summer, it’s always a nice time to catch up and attend some industry events that are being held locally, to mingle and meet new people. Last night, I was anxious to take a look at the beautiful floral arrangements at Flower No.5′s studio! Owners, Bobby and Tom did an amazing job at hosting a fabulous event. I even had the experience of stepping into a flower cooler, yup, it was cold..brrr! Ha! Industry professionals attended and some familar faces from photographers, planners and more. These guys really know what they are doing, if you are looking for something unique+gorgeous or even have an idea in mind, their imagination can create it.
