Y’all! If you know me, you know that I LOVE discovering new restaurants and local mom and pops! One rainy afternoon I stumbled upon the delicious mouth watering Toasted of Winter Park, what a discovery! It was the perfect kick to my tummy, who doesn’t enjoy some comfort food? Hot tomato soup with grilled cheese?! These aren’t just ANY grilled cheese sandwiches, all of their breads are Artisan and locally made, baked fresh daily & are preservative free! Options for vegan and gluten free are also available! My personal favorite is the Buffalo, but gosh, I have to tell you all of them are sure to satisfy your foodie heart, the rosemary truffle fries, and homemade mac n’ cheese!! Having an event? Wedding? Toasted now has an adorable food truck where they can cater any celebration! I took a tour of their food on wheels! Toasted will also be opening their 2nd location in Lake Nona come this April! Be sure to stop by, it’s perfect for lunch and dinner! Huge thank you to Meghan at Toasted for the amazing hosting!
Last month I had an amazing trip to Chile, what a stunning country! My mom is from there and I have tons of family still in the capital city of Santiago. A foodie myself, I was so excited to eat and try all the yummy Chilean tastes that would be offered. The fresh and extravagant variety of fruits and vegetables that are grown in the beautiful terrain in Chile, makes all of it scrumptious. Now let’ not just chat about the food here! My uncle and aunt have a home in the mountains, a small mountain town called “Calejo”, where my cousin who is a talented architect! He built a home completely eco-friendly, which makes it even more unique. I literally woke up to crisp air, 55 degrees ( it’s Summer in Chile ) and birds chirping from afar, it was to say the least so very relaxing. Santiago, filled with hustle and bustle of businesses and sky scrapers of modern decor and the Andes mountains wrapping every corner you turn. My mother as a teenager would visit this beautiful beach town called Zappallar, in the shots below that’s where I am, taking it all in. I loved experiencing the raw beauty of Chile. I hope to return soon, as there is so much more I want to discover. If you are ever thinking about traveling somewhere in South America, Chile is a must stop. The beaches, mountains, city, food and gosh, everything can be found here, I mean everything! Enjoy some of my shots below taken with film, oh and cheers…to pisco! If you haven’t had pisco, google it!
Liv and Christian’s wedding was so pretty! I loved the Napa feel of the wedding ambiance at the reception! And what about the beautiful black and white attire? Gorg! What an awesome time listening and dancing of course to The Buzzcatz, they really know how to get a party started! This was my last wedding of 2014, but what better way to ring in the New Years with this stunner! Congrats again to these two lovebirds and here are some of my personal favorites! Enjoy!
Ah! This was such a precious session for me. Savannah is a friend of mine who just gave birth to a sweet little girl! We took these shots just a few days ago, praying that we could before due to the fact that little Dakota was due anytime! I had such a special time capturing Savannah and Rick together, you can tell they are glowing of excitement for their daughter! Congrats you two!
These two cuties were a joy to capture! Last year I captured Michelle’s sister’s wedding and next year, I get to take part in capturing her very own! I look forward to their big day, enjoy the love these to share, how sweet! Engagement season is in full effect!
Katie and Chris had a lovely blushing peach wedding at the gorgeous Lange Farm! I loved all the elements of beautiful chalk art by Chalk Shop! The Lange Farm always brings and airy yet open atmosphere for a venue, and I love the big skies and friendly farm horses that are always sure to greet you! What a special day, I want to send prayers and love to Katie’s family, as her grandfather who made it to her wedding, the very next day passed away. It meant the world to me that I was able to capture and meet Katie’s grandfather smiling proudly as his granddaughter said ” I do”. Heaven gained an angel. Enjoy some of my favorites!
Emily and Tommy were such a special couple! It was a natural click with them when we first met during their engagement session. Emily’s organic and lush green wedding by the water was beautiful and romantic with touches of glitter and gold. Emily was not only a visionary for her own wedding but she also designed the boards through out, what talent! Enjoy some of my favorites!
It’s that time of year where you are probably getting invites to holiday parties! What to wear? An always safe route is a little black dress and I found the perfect one! I love this leather number by Amanda Uprichard, and if you get cold easily like myself, this super comfy jacket makes the perfect pair! Show up to your party in style and class. Happy bubbly! Cheers!
