Wedding: Alix + Logan

This was a beautiful wedding indeed! Labor day weekend was filled with fun! I had the opportunity to meet the lovely Alix and Logan with Brandee over coffee in College Park to talk about their big day just a few months ago, and we clicked right away! Alix is fom St. Martinique and Logan from New Jersey, the two met in college where they went to school at Embry Riddle and it was love at first sight! The big day came and some unexpected weather happened, a huge storm rolled in right before the reception, but that didn’t change the fun and excitement of our plan! The amazing team of wedding vendors worked together to move from the tsunami of rain that poured down and it all turned out beautiful, I was thrilled! I had such a blast and just love all the exotic island inspired style and custom details and decor of this wedding, some even made by the bride Alix herself! Enjoy this beautiful couple! Congrats again!

Duck Dynasty Styled 50th Surprise Celebration!

Hi there! So, when I was approached by the lovely Savannah to capture her hubbies 50th surprise party, I was stoked! Not only do they know how to throw amazing events I was also going to be working with almost all the same amazing vendors from their wedding! All the guests met at Rick’s Classic Cars, an amazing private showroom and venue located in Winter Park. As Robbie was driven to the location blind folded, we hid away in the darkness not making a sound, while the two of them viewed a short mini reality show of themselves called “Robbie’s Dynasty”. Once the video ended, lights came on and SURPRISE!! It was hilarious! From the decor to the southern inspired food and tablescape it felt just like Duck Dynasty, need I say more? Have a looky!

Engagement: Logan + Shane

These two were a joy to photograph. Filled with tons of giggles, they were naturals! Logan and Shane reside in Virginia, but went to school in Florida where they met. They will be having their destination wedding right here in Orlando next Spring! I’m super excited, if we had this much fun during the engagement, I know the wedding is going to be a blast! Happy Monday!

Engagement: Megan + Dale

Happy Friday! This week has just flown by, not to mention it’s been one hot week too, with lots of rain! I’m so very excited to capture Megan and Dale’s wedding next January at The Keeler Property! We met up at the beautiful Playalinda Beach near Kennedy Space Center and these two were such troopers in the dripping heat! Please take a look at some of my favorites, I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

Engagement: Shannon + Josh

I met these two lovely folks at the UCF Bridal showcase and voilà, I’m super excited to capture their big day! We had so much fun on their e-session. I met with Shannon and Josh in the heart of downtown Orlando, we walked around Church Street and also visited the spot where they first met! How adorable?! So many laughs and smiles between these two! Enjoy some of my favorites, Happy Wednesday!

Wedding: Amanda + Mike

Wow, this Summer has just been flying by and boy has it been hot! I had the chance to head up to the Jacksonville area to work with an amazing planner Cassie of Flaire Weddings. This beautiful wedding took place a little bit outside of Jacksonville, in Orange Park right on the St. John’s River. Such a stunning view, flowing trees and sunny skies! A beautiful setting to watch Amanda and Mike exchange ” I do”! They were a joy to capture and might I add, I’ve never seen so many unique and awesome dance moves on the floor! So many sweet moments happened at this wedding! Enjoy this stunning couple and some of my personal favorites!

Wedding: Emily + Hammad

This was my very first roof top wedding over looking beautiful landscapes of Reunion Resort. Emily and Hammad were a delightful couple, so very sweet and traveled all the way from Kuwait! Emily met Hammad while working in Kuwait and love sparked!  Not only did the couple travel far, so did their pup “Crusty”, talk about 24 hour flight?! Emily’s family lives in Orlando, so a small intimate wedding was set  covered with beautiful floral, draping and soft pastels. Emily has such a gorgeous classic look to her, she is truly stunning and I just loved her dress which was custom made by a regional designer in Kuwait, along with her shoes from Spain.  Enjoy, I sure did!

Romantic Green Garden

What a lovely collaboration with so many amazing wedding professionals! I had been chatting with Amber and Nicole for a while on the idea of styling and capturing a shoot together and I was so very excited to do so once we set a date! What’s cool about this collab, all the vendors are spread around from Orlando, St.Augustine, Jacksonville to Savannah! Florida meets Georgia eh? I was completely swooning over the loveliness of details and take a look at the adorable treats and stunning floral! I want to thank The Sanchez House and all the amazing hard working ladies for creating a beautiful vision into reality. Enjoy!

Summer Happenings!

As I write this, Miss Andrea the Tropical Storm is passing through and it literally hasn’t stopped raining for hours! Yippee (sarcasm). Days like this, I usually edit, re-organizing my office and take some breathing time to sip delicious hot tea. Summer has been such a blessing so far, I have spent some good time at the beach, had 3 weddings on the west coast of Florida and on my east side, I also got a new do! Still getting used to bangs again, my hair stylist swore I should do it, so I did, eeek, what do ya think? I also attended an awesome bridal show hosted by the sweet gals of Sweet Pea Events at UCF, met a lot of new brides and spent time with my local industry pals. Here are some photos to share, if you want to real time photos, make sure to follow me on instagram!

Boudoir: Kayla

Why hello there! This session is with one of my soon to be brides that I will be capturing this year, she wanted to surprise her fiancé with some boudoir shots. I’ve always believed you can keep images feminine and classy without revealing too much, and we did just that! I headed out to New Smyrna beach to Kayla’s private family residence near the causeway on a cool overcast morning. It worked out great for our soft yet artistic session, take a look at my personal favorites!

Wedding: Lola + Stephen

I have to say that this was one of the most unique weddings I have captured thus far, all for amazing things of course! I met with Lola and Stephen for coffee a few weeks ago as they were visiting Orlando, both are from Canada and I completely clicked with how genuine and special these two were together! As always, I ask how my bride and groom met, I love hearing love stories (hopeless romantic)! So, how did they cross paths? Both of these two lovebirds were late on a flight, the same flight…and sat next to each-other, I mean…how much of a an awesome story is that?! Let’s talk wedding! Despite the Florida rain showers that were arriving from the west coast, we didn’t let it effect our moods, I also felt it made the wedding even extra special. Lola wanted a southern wedding with her unique charm and love for Southern Weddings Magazine type details. Stephen, who works in the television industry, wanted to add his touch and personality for little monsters, quirky decor and cinematic retro movie scores. If I had to describe this wedding, it would be the South meets Tim Burton! The reception was filled with music playing from ET, Disney, circus style popcorn and a pretty intense imported pickle station! Lola created the programs and many other of the illustrations! Overall, I loved the DIY inspirations that was infused in this wedding. Lola and Stephen were a joy to meet and what a fun time, I laughed so much! One of my favorite Dr. Seuss quotes was read as they began the vows, ‘We’re all a little weird. And life is weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness—and call it love—true love.”

Wedding: Breann + Duran

Breann and Duran I met about a year ago, when they were visiting Florida for some vacation time and to take their engagements with me! They are such a lovely couple, not Floridians but all the way from North Dakota! I love my out of state brides, it’s fun to learn about their love story, how they found me and it just makes it extra special. The intimate wedding took place in beautiful St.Petersburg beach, accompanied by the warm beautiful sunset. Many joyful tears were made and lots of laughter. I had a complete blast capturing these two love birds, have a look at some of my personal favorites!

Check out the mini maternity session I had with the cutie patooties Jenn and Justin! What a beautiful and tranquil midwives home, filled with lush gardens and plants. Have a look! :)

Wedding: Aliny + Sean

These two are just precious! I had Aliny and Sean last year to take their engagement session and had an amazing time getting to know them! Aliny is from Brazil and Sean from Orlando, the two met a few years ago and have been inseparable since! I loved the beautiful Catholic mass at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, stunning wood finished ceilings and gorgeous ambiance. All of Aliny’s bridesmaids wore pops of color, different hues of yellow and did you see her bouquet?! Wow, it was huge and a stunning arrangement of orchids! I had a blast at my first Brazilian wedding! Enjoy!

Wedding: Erin + Nick

Erin and Nick are one of those couples you just constantly smile at! They both had the cutest story of meeting and fit perfectly together! I didn’t get to meet the couple prior to the wedding due to the fact that they live in Ohio, but day of wedding, I knew right away they were absolute sweethearts! The reception was filled with twinkled candle light, hilarious Polaroid kid photos of the bride and groom decorated the tables and hilarious toasts. I also have to add, Erin and Nick’s “first look” was priceless..check out those precious emotions! Enjoy!

Engagement: Kaysea + Paul

I’m super excited to be a part of this couple’s wedding! I’m working aside with the lovely Brandee Gaar of Blush, so I know it’s going to be fabulous. I met with Kaysea and Paul at a local Ranch, filled with tons of hay, adorable horses boarding and tons of laughter. Huge thanks to the nice folks over at Marcody Ranch for letting us take over their ranch ;) Check out the fun we had!

Engagement: Naomi + Freddie

So, I have to say I was SO happy to snag these two! You have to hear how they got engaged! Naomi was walking with Freddie at the mall having no clue what was about to take place. Freddie surprised Naomi with a flash mob proposal! How adorable is that? Rather me try to explain, head over to youtube and watch it! I cannot wait to capture their wedding this year, with a proposal like that, I know the wedding is going to be a blast!
