Orlando, Fl Maternity Photographer: Allison+Rob+1

I photographed Allison and Rob’s wedding a bit ago and I feel so lucky to play a part in capturing their big mile stones of life, marriage…and now a sweet baby! Allison is going to be the cutest mommy and is already adorable preggo :) She wanted a park and open green scenery, love how these turned out. Enjoy and congratulations in advance to little David Ryan on the way!

Winter Park, Fl Engagement Photographer: Nina+Chip

Nina and Chip are extremely adorable together! I’ve known Nina since she was about 15 years old and have seen her bloom into a gorgeous young lady and now newly engaged to be wed! Chip is a graduate from West Point where he played football and Nina is a savvy, fashionable, outgoing city gal. These two lovebirds will be getting married in the beginning of next year and I cannot wait! Not only did we have an awesome session, please make sure to scroll to the bottom to check out their mini “Love Short” Save the Date that I also captured. Enjoy and let me know what you think!

Personal: Flower No.5 Wedding Industry Event

Did somebody say flowers?! YES! During the summer, it’s always a nice time to catch up and attend some industry events that are being held locally, to mingle and meet new people. Last night, I was anxious to take a look at the beautiful floral arrangements at Flower No.5′s studio! Personal: Women in Business: Marie Claire Speakers Series Event

Marie Claire Magazine has been touring around booming cities with the amazing entrepreneur, turned mega million dollar e-commerce company Gilt Group, now book author Alexis Maybank! Woo, that was a lot to say! Ruth’s Chris presented this speaker series right here in beautiful Winter Park! I love being surrounded by young professional like minded women that all have a definite in common, together to achieve our ultimate goals and strengths within our business. We mingled, saw my friends at Sophie and Trey and amongst others! We networked and enjoyed exquisite appetizers + delicious bubbly champagne by sponsor Veuve Clicquot. I left the event inspired to move even stronger forward in all my ideas and aspirations in growing my business. Alexis and the Marie Claire team were spot on with words of “flexibility” and perseverance, putting on an amazing series of how ideas can turn into success stories! Here are some shots from the fun I had! #ruthschriswomen

Orlando, FL Photographer: Senior Session with Lisa

Summer is right around the corner and so are senior sessions! Lisa is just stunning, she reminds me of Selena Gomez and Angelina Jolie mixed into one! She was such a natural to work with and super photogenic! We walked around a Florida State Park just exploring and giggling enjoying the morning! I just adore the natural/boho feel of this session…especially for me as a lover of natural light photography! I wish I had senior photos when I was younger, gosh I was a complete dork and definitely didn’t dress half as cute as Lisa, sheesh.. senior photos or model??! Ha! Enjoy, I loved how they turned out!

Cake Pops and Styling: Andi Mans Photography & Design

Cake Pop Supplies:
Vanilla Food Cake Mix {and ingredients listed on box}
1/2 Cup of Cream cheese frosting
2 tbsp. Cup Dulce De Leche {Nestle}
White Chocolate Candy Melts {2 bags from Michael’s}
Candy sticks {from Michael’s}
Styrofoam
Gel Food Coloring Blue {NOT liquid}
Foil
Vegetable Oil Spray
Shortening {large spoon full}
Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions
  1. Line a large cake pan with non-stick spray.
  2. Follow the recipe on your cake mix and bake your cake as directed. Allow the cake to cool at room temp.
  3. Put your baked cake in a large mixing bowl. Use your hands to crumble the entire cake. Add about 1/2 of the package of cream cheese and 1/2 cup of dulce de leche frosting to the crumbled cake (watch for consistency).
    Use your hands to mix the frosting evenly throughout the crumbled cake mix until the cake mix is well moistened. Your cake mix should be moist enough to shape into a large mound and keep its shape.
  4. Roll your cake mix into 1 inch balls using the palms of your hands. You should be able to get 35-40 cake balls from a single batch of cake mix. To keep your cake pops from falling off the stick when you try to cover them in icing! After you shape the cake into little balls, put them in the freezer for about 10 minutes so they are super chilled. Then continue with the recipe. They will be “more solid” and therefor hold onto the stick better.
  5. Pour one entire package of white chocolate candy melts into a microwave safe bowl. Follow the melting instructions on the package. Pull out your melted white chocolate and stir thoroughly with a spoon until totally
    smooth. Once smooth, add a large spoon full of shortening {Crisco} to the white chocolate to thin out the consistency a bit. Stir thoroughly again.
  6. Take a cake pop stick and dip into the white chocolate about 1 inch. And then place it into the center of your cake ball. Then place your cake pop in the Styrofoam to harden.
  7. Continue with the remaining cake pops.
  8. Now coat the balls with the candy coating. The key is to place the pop in the chocolate at a sideways angle with one hand. Using the other hand, spoon the chocolate mixture all around the pop. Try to do this
    as quickly as possible before the chocolate begins to harden and get lumpy. Once you have evenly coated the pop, gently tap the stick on the side of the bowl to get off any excess chocolate that would drip.
  9. Use the remainder of your white chocolate for the drizzle. If you run out, make more following the steps above. Add the GEL food coloring of your choice until you receive your desired color.
  10. Now let your cake pops dry and then you are done! Refrigerate until ready to devour!

Orlando, FL Wedding Photographer: Mandi+Ryan St.Petersburg Beach Wedding

This wedding was so sweet, intimate and well..”Precious”!! Normally I meet with my bride’s before the big day, grab coffee and chit chat about the wedding, but Mandi lived in Ohio! Even though we couldn’t meet in person prior to her wedding day, she was a complete sweetheart to meet and such an easy going bride, I felt like I knew her already! Doesn’t she resemble Carrie Underwood? I think so! Ryan and Mandi are such a beautiful couple, I loved the sunset, all the little beach details and huge smiles on the bride’s face ALL DAY. Need I say more, see for yourself! Enjoy and congrats!

Personal: TheNot Wedding Orlando Event

When I first heard about this event, to tell you the truth I was a bit confused. It’s an event that is an actual “pretend” wedding aka fake! This year, The NotWedding visited Orlando at the beautiful ‘Heaven” event center! As I walked in I was greeted with delicious and unique appetizers like “mini chicken pot pie” by a local food vendor, yum! As I stepped into the venue I was surrounded by gorgeous decor, floral accents everywhere and lovely pastel pink shades. I found my seat as a “guest” to wait for the fake bride and groom to walk down the aisle. Each table had it’s very own different center piece, I of course, gravitated to the most southern one :) see below! I love this idea, it’s great for soon to be brides to really experience how a potential chosen vendor really work, not to mention fun for wedding vendors and photographers like myself to experience! I had a blast, take a look at some of the photos I shot while I was there on my mobile :)

Orlando, Fl Photographer: Best Friends Senior Shoot Chelsea & Maria

Ah, the amazing time that you graduate and move on to college! I remember being 17 years old and definitely wasn’t as stylish and adorable as these two ladies! Senior “portraits” have definitely advanced in the past years from the typical holding the year of numbers in your hand or the awkward pose with the sport you play at your high school, haha. Chelsea and Maria are best friends and wanted to have their senior session taken together as well as solo ones. I had great time at an awesome location that made my feel like I was in Costa Rica, super tropical. Enjoy!

Winter Park, FL Wedding Photographer: Carmen+Brian Wedding

I was really excited to photograph this stunning couple! Let me introduce you to Carmen and Brian. The two of them just returned from an intimate destination wedding in New Zealand, where they shared vows to one another in the most beautiful setting, I mean… talk about a gorgeous backdrop?! Carmen+Brian wanted to celebrate their wedding celebration a 2nd time around with family and friends in Winter Park at the Racquet Club, sharing memorable photos they took in New Zealand and an amazing video that was captured as well! Plans changed while arriving at the venue, due to the confused Florida weather, we had to move everything and everybody inside! It was still so much fun and as the night progressed it became dry outside and the party continued! Please enjoy, congrats to the both of you again!

Orlando, FL Wedding Photographer: Talyn+Joe Vero Beach Wedding

I was very honored to play a roll in Talyn and Joe’s wedding! I had such a good time with them when I shot their engagement session here in Orlando last year and was super excited to capture the big day in Vero Beach. The day started out pretty rainy and stayed that way! Talyn was the most easy going+ beautiful bride about it and kept on joking through out the day, “Andi, did you stop the wind and rain outside”? Haha, I wish!! We had planned on having the ceremony outdoors near the water but the weather had a different idea in mind and ended up moving the ceremony inside! I love small intimate weddings, it brings a sense of personal emotion. Even though the weather wasn’t as perfect as we all would have hoped for, it didn’t stop me from capturing these two love birds on their fabulous wedding day at the gorgeous Vero Beach & Spa hotel. Congratulations you two! By the way.. how amazing is the bridal bouquet? Talyn creates these!

Winter Park, FL Photographer: La Coperta, Etc product shoot

I’m super excited to share this product session with you! I was contacted through a mutual friend about adorable+handmade baby blankets and pillows all designed by the super talented Kelly! Some of the fabrics are 100% cotton and others 100% organic!” La Coperta” is Italian for blanket. The etc. was added to include the pillows and any further product additions in the future. Each blanket and pillow appropriately denote the look of la coperta, etc.. 9 panel quilt fronts, flannel borders and different backs with grosgrain and satin ribbon binding cement the style of la coperta, etc. The pillows, fully quilted in random patterns also helped to anchor the final look of la coperta, etc.’s image. With each blanket and pillow in different colors, different embroidered panels and beautiful fabrics, Kelly also recognized that her dreams, hopes and blessings were sewn in to each blanket and pillow. The official website will be launched in a few days, but for the mean time please “like her facebook page, follow her on twitter and bookmark the official website + order at the Etsy shop! These are THE perfect and unique gift! Check out the sneak peek!

Orlando, FL Photographer: Savannah+Robert Engagement

Have I told you how much fun my job is? It’s sessions like these that I leave with a smile on my face! Savannah and Robert were filled with laughter, joy and spontaneity! I visited their 52 acre land which was the perfect portrayal of the Florida country landscape. Savannah and Robert wanted to capture what they enjoyed, 4 Wheeling, playing with their pup and embracing the big southern skies. Savannah’s younger sister and maid of honor Kate, was adorable and jumped into the photos towards the end of our session to have  a muddy crazy sister fun, how pretty are they? Who knew playing in the mud could look stylish and cute at the same time? Congrats you two! Cowboy up! Enjoy!

Orlando, FL Photographer: CJ and Nija Engagement Session

2012 has been really exciting so far, why? I’ve met a few new Andi Mans Photography Brides! I always look forward to meeting a couple for their engagement shoot, it gives me a feel for their personalities and how they interact with each other. CJ is a friend of mine who contacted me first thing in the beginning of the new year to ask me if I wanted to photograph his beach-side St.Petersburg wedding in April (Yes! Cannot wait). CJ’s fiance Nija is gorgeous and seeing them together was not only adorable but so much fun to shoot. I look forward to capturing their big day in April and I hope you enjoy this sweet couple as much as I did! Happy Monday friends!
